We offer English riding lessons for beginner through intermediate riders, with an emphasis on horsemanship, correct riding technique, and confidence in the saddle.

Lessons are $75 for one hour and are available for riders 5 years of age and older.

Lesson Availability

Our lesson horses are limited, so availability depends on having an appropriate horse for the rider’s age, size, experience, current riding ability, and goals.

Please contact us before scheduling a lesson. Lesson availability may change as our horses’ schedules and capabilities change.

What to Wear

• Riding helmet: Required. Bring your own or use one provided by Moonlight Springs Equestrian.

• Long pants: Required. Please wear pants that allow comfortable movement.

• Boots or closed-toe shoes: Required, with a secure sole and heel. Riding boots are recommended but not required for beginners.

• Water: Please bring water to stay hydrated.

All riders or their legal guardian must complete a liability waiver before participating. A parent or legal guardian must remain on the property for the duration of any lesson involving a minor.

For minors, we kindly ask that a parent or legal guardian make the initial inquiry to help us remain SafeSport compliant.
